How to Treat Your Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)?

Premenstrual syndrome is a common disorder that associated with hormonal changes due to the menstrual cycle. We all know that a woman who’s not pregnant, menopause, or suffering particular of diseases will get menstruation every month. Normally, menstruation began at the age of 11-14 years. But girls who have weight or height under average (too skinny or too tiny) might be have late first menstrual.

How to treat your Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)The problem of many women almost every month is premenstrual syndrome. This syndrome affects lots of women during their period. A lot of women who entering their periodicity complained some troublesome symptoms like:
1.Unstable emotions like mood swings, nervous, upset, tempered, stress
2.Increased appetite
3.Feel pain in the several parts of body, like breast pain, headache, aches, bloating
4.Easily get tired
5.Acne
6.Gain weight

These symptoms above typically appear 7 days or 10 days before menstruation and disappear a few days after menstruation began. The causes that affect PMS is not clear, however some research mentioned that this syndrome are caused by several factors like hormonal factors because unbalance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone, genetic factor, and excessive hormone estrogen.

Then, if you want to reduce the premenstrual syndrome, several things can be done like:
1.Reducing the causes of stress
How to eliminate your stress? The answer is having fun. Watch your favorite movies, read good novel, hang out with your friends.

2.Exercising
Don’t get lazy to do some exercises especially when you get pre menstruation syndrome. But, if you feel your body too weak to do hard sport, just do relaxation exercise like yoga.

3.Eating smaller and more frequent
I know you always feel hungry when you have pre menstruation syndrome. So, eating only in small amount and more frequent will satisfy your hunger and avoid your stomach hurt.

4.Reducing salt consumption on your food
Salt intake can increase water retention which aggravate the premenstrual syndrome

5.Reducing caffeine intake
Avoid drinking coffee, tea, and soft drink when you get the pre-me because caffeine intake has directly related to period pain.

6.Drinking more water
Stress make us become dehydrated so we need to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

7.Consuming Supplement
Eating supplement that consists of vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, and zinc in order to boost your strength during the pre menstrual syndrome.

9.Balancing Diet
You should eat more fruits, vegetables, protein, whole grains then limit consuming carbohydrate and fats to prevent the premenstrual syndrome.

10.Using Primrose oil
Primrose oil is useful to ease the PMS symptoms especially when suffered breast tenderness or fibrocystic breast disease.
