Sleeping is needed by every human being to refresh their body and mind after doing some exhausted activities. Some people only need 5-6 hours to sleep while others take until 8 hours to make their self get up from the bed. Imagine if we have sleeping difficulties, your body will feel weak, decreasing stamina, and then work productivity will be affected. So, sleep is important to maintain your health. Unfortunately, some people can’t enjoy their sleep time. They often awakened during sleep or only falling asleep at dawn. Ouch, it might a very big problem for you, especially for the office worker.

Almost everyone has experienced of sleeping disorder, but the causes and the severity are different for each person. Various type of sleeping disorders is called insomnia. Insomnia is not related to how many hours you sleep, but more importantly the quality of your sleep. Some people with insomnia can fall asleep easily but wake up too fast and vice versa. If insomnia rarely happens, it’s not a problem. But if you suffer this sleeping disorder for a long time, I tell you it’s a serious problem, because insomnia doesn’t only disturb your energy and mood, but also your health in general.

The causes of insomnia are vary, such as working under pressure, stress at home, very hot weather, anxiety, depression, noisy environment, suffering body pain, respiratory problems, and urinate frequently. So, how to get rid insomnia naturally?

1.Doing exercises in the afternoon to make you more physically tired so you can rest easily.

2.Stop consuming caffeine beverages such as coffee, tea, and coke especially in the afternoon and evening.

3.Avoid drinking alcohol excessively. Though alcohol can make you drowsy, but if you consume it too much, you’ll wake up in the middle of the night and have trouble falling asleep again.

4.Avoid taking a nap

5.Avoid having big dinner

6.Drink warm beverages such as milk before going to bed

7.Wear loose and comfortable clothes so you can relax and breathe freely

8.Spend at least 1 hour to relax before going to bed

9.Be sure your bed is clean and the air is freely exchange in the room

10.Turn off the light when you sleep so that melatonin may work perfectly to stimulate the sleep center.

11.Make your own sleeping cycle. For example, you have to sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 6 am. Comply with this schedule even on holiday. So, your body can adjust with the sleeping time.

If you do all the suggestions above but still having trouble with sleeping quality that disrupt to the daily activities, you should consult to the doctor immediately.
