Generally, diabetics have skin disorders because of poor blood circulation, too high blood sugar levels and cholesterol levels, nerve damage and high blood pressure. Thus, to treat the diabetic skin, there are some things that you can do:
- Sweat helps to retain moisture on your skin. But remember, sweats also source of bacteria growth. So you have to maintain the skin condition, keep your skin clean especially on the cracks skin.
- It’s better to use cold water for taking a bath rather than hot water in order to prevent your skin from drying.
- Use bath soap that contain of moisturizer
- Never forget to use hand and body lotion to retain the moisture and smoothness of your skin.
- Consume fresh water, fruits, and vegetables more often
- Avoid scratching dry skin because it will make your skin easily get infection.
- Treat immediately if there is an open wound or infection on your skin or consult to your doctor.
- Use underwear made from cotton fabric in order to make your skin not too moist.
